IMPORTANT INFORMATION & DATES  

RLLCA information and registration/sign-up

 

Who: Any child entering 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th grade for the year of 2024-2025 wishing to participate in Racer Little League Cheerleading. Registration is based on true grade for the 2024-2025 school year

 (THIS INCLUDES ALL HOMESCHOOL & SHILOH CHRISTIAN ACADEMY STUDENTS THAT LIVE IN DISTRICT)

WE ARE STILL NEEDING VOLUNTEERS FOR COACHING for the 2nd grade and 3rd grade squads! Please mark in the notes at registration if you would be interested or email RacerLittleLeagueCheer@gmail.com

 

When: April 5 - May 5, 2024 10:00 PM

Where:  Registration is online only,
FITTINGS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL NEW CHEERLEADERS.
WE WILL  NOT BE GETTING NEW UNIFORMS THIS YEAR, WARM UPS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL CHEERLEADERS

(dates for fittings will be sent out after registration closes. Cost will be $250 due at time of fitting)

The following 2 items are required to have at the time of signups:

  1. Completed digital sign up form ( SEE SIGN UP LINK BELOW) 

  2.  $50.00 non-refundable registration fee + $2.00 processing fee (you will be prompted to pay at the end of signup form)

 

Parent Involvement

 

Please be honest about you and your family's capacity to fulfill this obligation. It is strongly advised that cheerleading be prioritized over other activities your child is actively participating, in order to foster collaboration and accountability. Please keep in mind that we will be practicing at least twice a week beginning in August and continuing through late October. The cheerleaders and parents must give their all. Practicing during this time is REQUIRED, barring special permission from the squad coach.  Please don't hesitate to get in touch with a board member via the contact form on our website's home page or email RacerLittleLeagueCheer@gmail.com if you have any questions.  

Practices will be held MONDAY AND THURSDAY nights from 6:30-8pm at Veterans Park in Newcastle. 

UNIFORM FITTINGS & FEES:

Cheer Uniform (Shell and skirt), poms, briefs, long sleeve half top, cheer warm ups and cheer bag are required and part of the uniform package.  All new cheerleaders will need to purchase these items.  Returning cheerleaders can purchase individual items if needed. Links for shoe recommendations will be emailed. 

Each squad will be able to order their own squad bow. Estimated cost is $20/bow or less but will be voted on with your squad and coach.

Fittings will be held in person in mid May (dates coming soon!) at  the High School Cheer Room. (Building is located across the street from the field house.)

Uniform Costs:

 

 New Uniform Package $ 250 

(This includes NEW shell, skirt, half top, briefs, bag, pom-poms, warm ups)

We appreciate your patience and are eager to work together more closely this season no matter what it looks like. All updated information will be provided via this website and the RLLCA facebook group as we gather more information.
